Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Substitutes for our NMCAA Preschool Classrooms in our 10 county regionn. In this role, you will provide essential support in maintaining a positive learning environment for students in the absence of their regular classroom teacher. You will be responsible for managing classroom behavior, and ensuring that students remain engaged and productive throughout the school day. This position is ideal for those with a passion for education and a desire to make a difference in the lives of children.
NMCAA Head Start – Full time Family Engagement Specialist serving Roscommon County.
The FES team is compassionate, resourceful, fun and supportive of each other in their work!
Applicants will use strength based approaches within relationships with families, staff
and community partners. The FES supports families through positive, goal-oriented relationships
and individualizes for each family using our parenting curriculum, Your Journey Together (YJT),
e-deca, and outcomes and resources from our Family Needs Assessment and Family Outcome Tool
during home visiting, family events, meetings and workshops. The FES utilizes Learning Genie for
family communication, sharing parent, family and community engagement (PFCE) and school readiness
resources along with NMCAA and community services and opportunities. Other duties include but are
not limited to, assisting with recruitment, class selection, enrolling children through the year,
transitioning families into and out of Head Start, substituting for classrooms and Child Plus data entry.
Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required in social work, human services, counseling,
or related fields.
Minimum certification requires a Family Service Credential within 18 months of hire (Provided by employer).
Grade EC, $19.57 – 19.87 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. Full Time.

Qualifications start with a CDA, support provided to further education if needed.
